Getting started with a health coach can feel daunting for some, and that’s totally normal. We’ve outlined some frequently asked questions about our training programs below to help. If you have a question we haven’t covered just get in touch!  

How long is your training program?
Our programs are different to most.  We have a 12 week contract to start you off, which is about getting you to commit to changing your habits to start your lifestyle change.  Then from there, you are free to leave our program when you are ready.  However, when you get started, we know you will love the community and engagement. Some of our members have been with us for more than 8 years!
What do I need to bring to a training session?

Please bring a towel and a water bottle with you. We provide the rest!

Once you get started, we will also provide you with a Myzone Heart Monitor which we would like you to bring to each session.  You may wear this outside of class too, in order to track any additional activity you do throughout the week.

I have a pre-existing injury. Can I still train?

Of course you can train if you have a pre-existing condition or injury!  We will work with your Physio or arrange for you to get a Physio consult to confirm the extent of your injury. Then your health coach will tailor your programs around your capabilities.  We find many of our clients come to us because they have chronic pain and we develop ways to help the body become stronger which can help alleviate these pains.

Do I need to use the food app?

Our programs are not just physical strength programs, but are whole body health and lifestyle programs.  This means we encourage you to set goals, eat healthy, work on physical strength and generally improve your overall lifestyle so you can live stronger for longer! So we strongly encourage you to use the food apps to ensure your goals are being met and you’re on the right track.

I am going on holiday. Can I pause my membership?

If you are going on holiday we will provide you with a modified training program so you can continue working towards your health goals even when you can’t physically get to the gym.  You are also encouraged to keep using all the apps even when you are away.  Our healthy living philosophy extends all year round. 

What are you doing to ensure your are COVID Safe?
We are very passionate about being able to continue to provide services to you so we have ongoing COVID Safe procedures.  These include:

  1. All attendees and coaches are up to date with their vaccinations
  2. All equipment is frequently wiped down and cleaned
  3. We have industrial sized fans keeping air flowing through the room
  4. We have large open windows to help with the air flow
  5. If anyone is sick they are asked to stay home
Can I do my sessions from home?

We are 100% flexible to your needs and lifestyle requirements.  If you are in isolation, are not able to make it to the gym or away on holidays, we can set a home training program for you. 

However we do recommend you to come into the gym if possible twice a week so we can ensure we give you the best possible focussed training sessions.
